everything down to Friday

DSC_1810

comes down to
when your eyes are so sensative
as an indoor office jockey
riding on that corporate nag
that you see halos around the lights
and people look crisp and thus holy
even the desk origami made by human hands
looks strangely organic and dirty
hey -- it doesn't speak English
or tick stately with the clock
or laugh on time
it doesn't lean slightly forward
like the gray steel towers
all right angles and perfection when
everything comes down to Friday

Straight up, Columbia Tower, Seattle, Washington

with your spine the exact shape
I mean EXACT shape of your office chair
and your hands are blue and kinda lacy
like you could see through them in all their glory
and then they rise if you hold a pencil
it looks real like the official steel
your hands feel like the origami, all spicked and earthy
then they're ticking
like the cold clock'd time that shows you
everything comes down to Friday

DSC_1880

like a great sporting event
where the players and spectators all hold their breath
for the running split second
and some how if thus enlightenment ensued --
or even eggs were fried with that potencial
we'd be famous not in the future, Jackson, but right now
and if I just keep saving myself
and my money
I won't be waiting with bated breath
for the exact moment when
everything came down past Friday

Poem Over GNU License

Fooling around on the grass, Brighton Pavillion, England, UK
Gnu three; glasses, furry beard, pink sweater
how far out are we?
long black hair of licenses
open source hearts
put it on my works
take me and modify me
building block, take, use, whatever you want
if you can make money it is all yours
buy me dinner maybe

remixed information overload
Intellectual property is bunk
set me free and you will be
copyleft the copyrights, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets

Oh song of public domain
intellectual free speech
hardy ethical respect for respect

right is right, left? O

Great Love Has Got You Figured Out

Great love has got you
Great love has your number
Great love has your case on file
Great love knows your name
Great love is no stranger

Great love constantly stands on guard
Great love constantly needs no guard

Great love gives great love
Great love thinks light thoughts
Great love beats heart
Great love hears an echo
Great love smiles and shakes

Great love signs a mystery
Great love hears a symphony

Great love sings a love song
Great love rubs a fat baby's rump
Great love a-scent from the garden flowers
Great love has no excuse
Great love has great love

Great love hummingbirds
Great love butterflys

Great love greets you
Great love like the morning bride
Great love offers great love
Great love minds itself
Great love gives you great love

A rub a dub dub
Great Love, Great Love
Yabba du!
