Jesus Christ meditated on emptiness: Christian word meaning emptiness in a religious sense - emptiness of self - "Kenosis" - "Jesus made himself nothing (ἐκένωσε ekénōse)" or "he emptied himself", verb form κενόω kenóō "to empty"

Just found this and I thought you would like to know that in the Christian tradition there is a word used in English which means emptiness in a religious sense - emptiness of self - it is the word "Kenosis"

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenosis

Kenosis is a Greek word for emptiness, which is used as a theological term. The ancient Greek word κένωσις kénōsis means an "emptying", from κενός kenós "empty".

The word is mainly used, however, in a Christian theological context, for example Philippians 2:7, "Jesus made himself nothing (ἐκένωσε ekénōse) ..." (NIV) or "...he emptied himself..." (NRSV), using the verb form κενόω kenóō "to empty".
Clearly from the documentation Jesus Christ meditated on emptiness.
